Actiontec logoActiontec has released a new family of 802.11ac Wireless Network Extenders.

The new family of 802.11ac Wireless Network Extenders uses bonded MoCA 2.0 to extend Ethernet and Wi-Fi LANs via standard coax cabling.

The 2x2 2.4 GHz radio supports link rates up to 300 Mbps, while the 4x4 MU-MIMO ready 5 GHz radio supports rates up to 1.7 Gbps when used with devices supporting those link rates. The WCB6200Q has two Gigabit Ethernet Ports, while the WCB6240Q has four.

Other features include 4 SSIDs per radio, Wi-Fi Protected Setup, priority-based QoS and TR-069 management.
