Synology
has released the next version of its DSM NAS OS.
DiskStation Manager 4.2 improves Synology's cloud features with a "quick connect" option that eliminates the need for router port forwarding for many of its apps.
Also new is the DS Cloud feature that supports file syncing for iOS devices, support for Amazon's Glacier inexpensive data archive service and support for Synology's High Availability NAS clustering option across all x86 based models.
You can get all the DSM details here and check for a download for your NAS here.
