The DIR-600 Wireless 150 Router and companion DWA-125 Wireless 150 USB Adapter use single-stream draft 802.11n technology. The router and adapter combo support a maximum connection rate of 150 Mbps vs. the 300 Mbps supported by Wi-Fi Certified draft 802.11n products.

Wireless routers and adapters using single-stream draft 802.11n technology can be Wi-Fi Certified for 802.11b/g only and are being positioned as cheaper alternatives to draft 11n Certified products. The router is guaranteed to provide the advertised 150 Mbps maximum connection rate only when used with a matching adapter. When used with 802.11g devices, "single-stream" routers provide 802.11g speeds.

Router features include a four-port 10/100 switch, WEP, WPA and WPA2 wireless security and Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) support.

The router and USB adapter are available now at MSRPs of $69.99 and $49.99 respectively.
