NETGEAR WN3000RP Universal WiFi Range Extender NETGEAR has released a new wireless range extender.

The WN3000RP Universal WiFi Range Extender increases the coverage of home networks by automatically repeating the wireless signal from a Wi-Fi router or gateway.

The extender is a compact, self-contained unit that plugs into any AC outlet and repeats the signal from any 2.4 GHz wireless router or access point. It does not require routers to support WDS.

The Extender can also be used as a wireless Ethernet bridge by connecting a device or switch via the 10/100 Ethernet port.

It supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup and will automatically set up a secure connection via a push-button WPS session with a WPS router or AP. Manual WEP, WPA and WPA2 encryption can also be set up.

The adapter includes LED indicators to help find the best location for WN3000RP.

The WN3000RP is available now for $89.99 MSRP.
