NETGEAR says it has produced its first router with Mac-specific features.
Those features on the WNDRMAC Wireless Extreme for Mac and PCs are support for Apple Time Machine backup to its ReadySHARE USB 2.0 port and Apple's Bonjour automatic network discovery and configuration technology.
Othewise, the WNDRMAC is very similar to NETGEAR's WNDR3700. The simultaneous 802.11abgn dual-band WNDRMAC has all Gigabit Ethernet ports, supports wireless Guest networks and has OpenDNS-based parental controls.
The WNDRMAC is shipping now at a $129.99 MSRP.
