TP-LINK logoTP-LINK has introduced AC1900 and AC1750 class extenders.

The RE580D AC1900 Wi-Fi Range Extender is an AC1900 class desktop range extender supporting maximum link rates of 600 Mbps in 2.4 GHz and 1300 Mbps in 5GHz when used with devices capable of supporting those rates.

Features include dual-core 1 GHz processor, three external dual-band antennas, 700mW power amplifiers and built-in five port Gigabit Ethernet switch.

The extender supports both bands simultaneously and has a "High Speed Mode" that uses one radio to connect to devices, while the other connects back to the network being extended.

The RE450 AC1750 Wi-Fi Range Extender is an AC1750 class extender in wall-plugged format. It supports maximum link rates of 450 Mbps in 2.4 GHz and 1300 Mbps in 5GHz when used with devices capable of supporting those rates.

Features include three external dual-band antennas, single Gigabit Ethernet port and "intelligent" signal light to aid in optimum extender placement.

The RE580D is available now at the TP-LINK store and other major retailers in store and online. The RE450 is available exclusively at Office Depot and OfficeMax. MSRP for the RE580D is $149.99 and $119.99 for the RE450.
